Many people over the years have joined the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary (the Auxiliary) and volunteered their time helping the U.S. Coast Guard (the Coast Guard) carry out its mission. They have saved many lives through their work and are probably best known for their boating safety classes and Vessel Safety Checks. Air operation rides, boat shows, sailboat regatta races, picnics, dinner shows are just some of the fun things we do. See a slide show introduction. |
